What is Treshire jewellery made of?
Every Treshire piece is made from 316L medical-grade stainless steel - the same metal used in surgical implants - finished with 18K PVD gold plating. This combination gives you the look of real gold with performance that outlasts standard plated jewellery.
What is PVD gold plating?
PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition. It's a vacuum-sealing process that bonds gold to the metal at a molecular level. PVD plating is significantly thicker and more durable than standard gold-flashed or electroplated jewellery. It resists tarnishing, fading, and peeling far longer than conventional plating methods.
Is Treshire jewellery real gold?
No. Treshire is demi-fine jewellery - it is not solid gold. Every piece is 316L stainless steel with 18K PVD gold plating. It looks like 18K gold and is built to last like it, but it is not solid gold. We believe in being straightforward about this.
What is demi-fine jewellery?
Demi-fine sits between fashion jewellery and fine jewellery. It uses quality base metals and real plating processes - not cheap brass or zinc alloy - but is priced accessibly. Treshire is built for women who want jewellery that genuinely lasts without paying fine jewellery prices.
How is Treshire different from regular gold-plated jewellery?
Most gold-plated jewellery uses brass or zinc alloy as the base metal with a very thin layer of gold applied electrically. It tarnishes, turns skin green, and fades within weeks. Treshire uses 316L surgical steel as the base - which does not react with skin - and PVD gold plating which is vacuum-sealed and significantly thicker. The result is jewellery that looks better for longer.
SKIN SAFETY & ALLERGIES
Is Treshire jewellery safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. 316L stainless steel is hypoallergenic and free from nickel, lead, and brass - the three most common causes of skin reactions from jewellery. It is the same metal used in surgical implants and medical devices precisely because of its biocompatibility.
Will Treshire jewellery turn my skin green?
No. Skin discolouration from jewellery is caused by copper and brass in the base metal reacting with sweat and skin oils. Treshire uses 316L stainless steel which contains no copper or brass and does not react with skin.
Can I wear Treshire jewellery if I have a metal allergy?
316L stainless steel is the most widely recommended metal for people with metal sensitivities. It is nickel-free and lead-free. However if you have a diagnosed allergy to stainless steel specifically, we recommend consulting your doctor before wearing any metal jewellery.
WATERPROOF & DURABILITY
Is Treshire jewellery truly waterproof?
Yes. Every piece is waterproof, sweat-proof, and shower-safe. The 316L steel base does not corrode or react with water and the PVD plating is sealed against moisture. You can shower, swim, and sweat in it without damage.
Can I wear it while swimming?
You can wear it in the ocean or a pool occasionally but we recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to chlorinated water. Chlorine at high concentrations over extended periods can degrade any metal finish over time. Brief exposure is fine.
Can I wear Treshire jewellery to the gym?
Yes. It is specifically designed for 24/7 wear including workouts. Sweat does not affect the steel or the plating, but it can get scratches on your Jewellery.
Will the gold plating fade or peel?
PVD plating is significantly more durable than standard gold-flashed jewellery. It maintains its finish significantly longer than standard plated jewellery with regular everyday wear. Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals like bleach, chlorine, and concentrated perfumes directly on the piece.
How long will Treshire jewellery last?
With normal care - storing in the pouch, avoiding harsh chemicals, wiping clean occasionally - Treshire jewellery outlasts standard fashion jewellery comfortably. Like all plated jewellery, the finish will wear over time. How long depends on how you wear it and how you care for it.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
How do I care for my Treshire jewellery?
Store in the pouch provided when not in use. Avoid spraying perfume or applying creams directly onto the piece. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after heavy sweating or water exposure. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight. That is all it needs.
Can I clean my Treshire jewellery?
Yes. Wipe gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, ultrasonic cleaners, or harsh chemical solutions. For stubborn marks, a drop of mild soap on a soft cloth works fine - rinse and dry immediately after.
Do I need to remove it before sleeping?
No. Treshire is built for 24/7 wear. You do not need to remove it to sleep, shower or exercise.
SIZING & FIT
Are your rings adjustable?
Yes. All Treshire rings are size-adjustable. No need to worry about sizing — wear it and adjust to fit.
How do I know which bracelet size to choose?
Bracelet sizing and chain lengths are listed on each individual product page. If you are between sizes or unsure, contact us at connect@treshire.com and we will help you find the right fit.
Do you offer jewellery in silver finish?
Yes. Some pieces in our collection are available in a silver finish using the same 316L steel base. These are marked clearly on the product page.
ORDERS & SHIPPING
How long does shipping take?
Orders are dispatched within 2-3 business days. Delivery across India takes 4-7 business days depending on your location. You will receive tracking details by email as soon as your order ships.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Free shipping on all orders above ₹999. Orders below ₹999 have a standard shipping charge applied at checkout.
Do you ship outside India?
Currently we ship across India only. International shipping is something we are working towards - follow us on Instagram for updates.
Can I track my order?
Yes. A tracking link is sent to your email as soon as your order is dispatched. If you have not received it within 3 business days of placing your order, contact us at connect@treshire.com.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We process orders quickly. If you need to make a change, contact us at connect@treshire.com within 12 hours of placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate it. We cannot guarantee changes after the order has been dispatched.

What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged or defective, email us at connect@treshire.com with your order number and a video of the damaged product in unboxing video within 48 hours of delivery. We will resolve it promptly.
What if I receive the wrong item?
